I feel very lucky to have chosen a profession that has been so rewarding. This will be my fourteenth year here at Davidson Elementary. I received my BS from Syracuse University, my MA from Xavier University, and administrative licensure from Wingate University. I earned National Board Certification in 2005. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of outstanding school systems in New York, New Jersey, Georgia, and Ohio. My husband and I have 2 wonderful daughters. Heather teaches first grade and Megan is an attorney. We love to travel especially to the beach.

Hello! I've been a part of the Davidson family as both a student and a teacher. I walked the halls for second, third, and fourth grade as a student and now have the pleasure of walking the halls as a first grade teacher. I attended Appalachian State University and earned a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Spanish. As a student teacher, I taught with Cindy Harrigan here at DES. This will be my 5th year teaching at Davidson. I live in the area with my boyfriend Justin, cat Mooshi and dog Rosie. When I'm not teaching, I love hiking and cooking!
